Chandler loves animals, fish, bugs. He is just plain fascinated with them. About 5 weeks ago we got him a male beta fish that was red and blue. It was a really pretty fish and Marshall thought Poseidon was a fitting name for him. Chandler was really excited about the fish and loved it when Marshall would clean out his tiny little tank because that meant he got to tease him. I came home from work last night and Marshall said Poseidon was dead. I actually felt kind of sad, it was weird. I must have had some unspoken connection with our fish, lol. That mixed with the hormones and lack of sleep from working all night. Marsh said they flushed him down the toilet and Chandler was ok with it. Granted he doesn't really understand either though.
We've also been trying to sell our tv that magically shuts off and the tv cart with it. We were practically giving it away at $20. Marshall said he had a guy call last night that was interested and came over to look at it. Here's what Marshall told him about the tv.
"Our tv has a really neat feature. When you watch too much, it shuts off so it helps to monitor how much tv you are watching."
Nicely said Marshall.
The guy decided he wanted it and offered Marsh $18 for it. LOL - who does that when you are getting a good tv with a tv cart? Marsh told him no, $20, that's it.
He took it and now greatfully we have more room in our apartment & $20 for a night out on the town :)

$20 bucks is a steal, glad you wouldn't take any less :) I'm such a stinge with money I always try and get the most out of nothing.
Cheap Mormons in Rexburg, trying to do it for $18. $20 is a steal.
Fish. Moura had a goldfish names spooky a few years ago. He was with us for 6 months. I went too long cleaning his bowl. He suffocated. I think it affected me the most. I still feel sad about Spooky.
Heck, I would have bought it for 20 bucks! Actually, I swear we have the same TV, because ours does that too.... 2 bucks off- SO funny!
Isn't it funny how little things make you cry when you are pregnant? At least you got rid of the TV!
didn't know you had a fish..
we have 3 tiger barb and two of them were dying.. or so it seemed.. I was happy.. i thought the faster the better.. LOL.. they looked like they were dying and couple of days i noticed they were fine. I know i sound horible. but they are boring, and Nadia' doesn't care much for them and too much of a hassle to clean, plus I have to use a transformer( converts from 110 to 220) and that takes up energy.
glad got rid of the TV!
Don't even get me started on fish. Thanks to Justin's lovely aquarium we average a loss of about 50 or so fish a year. Right now we have probably 20 or so swimming happily in that tank.. we need more. We have spent a LOT of money on fish but hey I guess that happens when you have a 50 gallon aquarium. sorry to hear about it though. Yay on the extra $20 from the t.v.
