Once there was a snowman

So I am blogging at 6 am. For those who know me well, I usually don't get up until 9. I've been having dreams all night about the Rexburg temple. Interesting, I know - but I have the same dream that is about 10 minutes and then I wake up. Waking up every 10-20 minutes after I fall asleep makes for a long night, so I figured I'd just get up for a little bit. Oh, and maybe the temple is on my mind because we attended the openhouse on the 3rd. Beautiful, amazing & great spirit there, need I say more?

Friday I went after Christmas shopping with my mom. We were gone all afternoon and I had high hopes that all the walking would put me into labor. Yeah right! I called Marshall one particular time and he said that he and Chandler were building a snowman. Good activity when there is great packing snow, right? He mentioned that he tried using food coloring for the eyes and nose and it didn't work so great. Here is the finished product. Just a LITTLE freaky, don't you think? ROTFL Looks like a snowman from a horror movie :)

Carson looked off the balcony last night and saw your snowman. He was obsessed and kept repeating, "Chandler make a snowman." Anyway, because of the angle he thinks that it is a little snowman and insists that he wants to go build a bigger one! I keep telling him that it isn't little, but he doesn't believe me. I think I'll have to take him downstairs and let him see it from ground level!

I am the creator of such fine craftsmanship- Chandler was my assistant. To clarify the story, we built the snowman, and decided to put food coloring on it, to make it look more "friendly" (seriously). We didn't want to scare Carson upstairs with a scary snowman outback. Well the wind blew and the food coloring went all over, as the dye soaked in, we decided that our "friendly snowman" turned out to be a psycho bloody snowman. We wanted to have a big carrot nose- but we only have the little nub kind, so I tried our huge green bell pepper, which could have been awesome... but it just wasn't working out. Our snowman is not a jolly happy soul.

Bwahahahaha I am rolling on the floor laughing at this. We have a snow man that looks almost identical! Maeli decided our snowman needed red lips & did the same thing with the food coloring - I will have to send you a picture. (she did it back the first of December) Although I have to say your snowman looks a lot creepier! Too stinkin funny.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my, Tiff! I'll bet you won't be dreaming of the temple anymore because now you'll have nightmares about the freak snowman. I love Marshall's "in my defense" story below - too funny.

P.S. You should go to Walmart sometime and look for infant and toddler christmas pj leftovers because our walmart clearanced theirs for $1.50 each! We bought 6 pairs!! Woohoo. I love a good deal.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the snowman!! Seriously considering making this my desktop wallpaper, because every time I see it I laugh my head off. Only problem is it scares my kids.. Marshall's comment was funny too- I think a green bell pepper nose would have made it even better too!

freaky! but it made me laugh. we used food coloring to write our names in the snow once the kids loved it.
