Independence Day

We made a trip up to Idaho for the 4th. (Guessed we miss everyone already :) ) We drove up Thursday night and left about 6:00 - mistake. It took us almost 2 hours just to get out of the Salt Lake Valley. On Friday morning we went to the parade in Idaho Falls and met up with Marshall's family there.

That afternoon we had a barbecue at Marshall's parent's house and then watched the fireworks in Idaho Falls. We sat by my parents and then went over to Chris & Natalie's afterwards to do little fireworks in the street.

Chan was so tired after the fireworks we caught him climbing into Claire's bed.

Yesterday before we came home we watched a movie with my parents and barbecued steaks - yum! We also visited with Marshall's good friend Justin & his wife Ashley that morning. We met their cute little boy Jack who we had never met before since Justin & his wife live back east.
