This is what I got this week for a $15 contribution:
5 tomatoes
1 cantaloupe
1 lb bag baby carrots
1 bunch swiss chard
1 bunch spinach
1 bunch lettuce
celery
pineapple
bag of apples
blackberries
15-20 red potatoes
It's easily $35 of produce when you price it out.
They also have other options other weeks. For $6.50 this week, I also got a mexican bunch shown below.

And 72 tortillas in assorted sizes. (I will be freezing some :) ) For $10

that is great that you can get all that local produce and at such a great price! way to go .
Correction... it's NOT local produce. But, I got my first B.B. today too. Which Day Break were you at? I was at the Early Light Academy. It's funny cuz I didn't get a cantaloupe! I am really gonna to have to come up with some ways to get all those veggies and fruits in before they can go bad. Next time I think I might try the organic one.
Britt - it's not local? That stinks? Oh well, it's super cheap anyway!
very cool! I wish there was something like that here =(
I went with Avry and got hers. You definately have to use up some of it fast. We had chef salad on Sunday and she left me some spinach which I cooked up. We also made salsa.
I saw your blog on your facebook so i thought i would check it out!
